Race tracks, dollar hot dogs, Tap me so lightly, Pho, and leggy brunette

Sunday I met up with a few couchsurfers at the Golden Gate Fields to check out the horse race and the wonderful world of betting.

It was Dollar Day at the race track so the admission, beer, hot dog, sodas, and all sort of other unnecessary things were $1 today.

I bought my dogs and beer and pepsi. Met with Tyler and Dan, they taught me how to bet on the horses. I made one dollar on the first bet— they knew how to hook me in!

After that we continue to drink more, have amazing conversations about their trip to Thailand earlier in the year, and yelling at the horses for no apparent reasons. One of their traveling couchsurfing friends, May, happens to be from Thailand and she was in town. I met May and instantly felt like we could be friends. I talked with her and her filmmaker friend Jeff.

My biggest winning was 23 dollars on one race. Mainly I bet on the horses that had the cool names.  I cashed out and my net winning was eight dollars. Not a shabby day.

We all took the BART back to the city and headed into China town to get Vietnamese food. It was delicious, as always.
It wasn't quite in these tiny chairs in Vietnam, but quite delicious
Afterwards we went and hung out in Tyler and Dan's apartment. It was quite possibly one of the most awesome apartment space that has a roof with a view of Coit tower, the bay bridge, and San Francisco on the street. —possibly.

May  made us do Jägermeister shots. I had to travel back to Oakland, but relinquished. Bad idea.

A batch of mysterious brownies.
I ended up spending the night surfing their bunk beds. We went out to the local bar, chinese drinks and karaoke. Also bringing along some random people from the bar. One of the girls, named Katie, I said to her that she was probably the most attractive girl named Kelsey who's ever sat in that seat at that table in that restaurant in the span of two hours. I made sure she knew how to spell my first name. I'm sure we'll be facebook friends one day. Maybe.

If you didn't get that reference, watch the video at the end.

We all came back to the apartment and had brownies again. I'm always conscious of brownies here in SF. Nevertheless, Tyler and I sat in the living room and drank water until both of us wounded up in our own rooms for the night.

I woke up kinda confused and played Nintendo 64 with another roommate Jamie. I suck at Golden Eye.
We barbecue'd on top of the roof in honor of Memorial day. So awesome! Made new friends!

You could be the most beautiful blog reader in the house you are in. Definitely the top three, depending on the house.
