Another Jam-Packed Weekend

On Thursday I went and met up this girl Anna. She's a filmmaker from Germany who's worked everywhere else but.

Had a lovely time exploring a bit of Bangkok with her. I also had one of the best Thai Isaan food with May and Buttercup.

Friday I hung out with my family. We had dinner. I've been eating a ton but am blaming it on my workout. It's probably not that intense of a workout but I'm blaming that.

Lymbyc Systym performing in Bangkok.
After I went to this really cool post rock concert with P' Mee and P'May#2  (I hope she doesn't mind me calling her that). It featured a bunch of Thai bands, and a headliner from US Lymbyc Systym. They're pretty cool. I enjoyed the sounds they were creating a lot, especially the drummer. I also enjoyed discovering this genre.

The very next morning my parents and I drove to Udon-Thani. We went to see one of our employees' mom. One of our workers had been working very hard and to reward him, my dad instead of giving him a bonus, which he would probably blow it on alcohol and senseless things, he gives the parents a large sum of money. You see in Thailand family is still a very big deal plus my dad has the guts to do this. It's a business model you won't find that often in Thailand, much less anywhere else around the world.

They all appreciated it and we had a great time driving up Northeastern Thailand. The beautiful views along the road and some temples we visited prompted me to take some photos on my phone and also to try out this app that I can edit some photos on there. Here are some of the ones I really like....

This is a double exposure of traffic in Bangkok and a foresty pathway.

Please notice the Merry Xmas signage.

I loved this one.

A statue of the Buddha inside a temple inside a cave.

Morning Light.

This tap and the way I edited this reminded me of Banksy.

Another one playing with shadows, light, and trees.

Miss you all, I need more sleep.
