The world is a crazy place.
Just when I thought I had a fun weekend hanging out with my little brother, the next day I happened to get to hang out with my little sister.
We went out to eat— at a local restaurant— a Korean/Japanese type buffet that involves a personal hot pot and a personal grill.
It was delicious. Never had grilled pumpkin before. Yum!
Then we walked down and there was a fashion show going on, in the middle of a shopping complex. It was a lingerie show.
Thai people, particularly Thai women are usually conservative when it comes to dressing.
Not when they are shopping for bras and panties.
I've seen too many out-in-the-open underwear shops, sometimes at open-air markets. This was no different— half naked women doing a fashion show in a crowded shopping mall, while other women of all ages, pick out their favorite underwear to buy in front of the whole Bangkok to see.
Well, it was a neat weekend— one filled with sibling love, This American Life, Radiolab, and reading about becoming a gaffer/DoP.
Oh yeah, I'm way excited for my cute little Cortni girlfriend to fly half way across the earth to come see me in Thailand. We've been more than 8 months apart and it's less than a week away til we reunite. I just can't wait to see her.. <3
