This is backstage of the Alcazar show in Pattaya. It's a live show with transsexuals and music and dances and such.

It was an experience to be in the backstage here. They don't usually let a film crew come in very often. The photo above is before the ladyboys (what people called transsexuals here sometimes) started shuffling in and change into costumes and put their face on.

I'm pretty exhausted at this point. Slept a great deal but was satisfied. I'm getting a bit better and faster on getting some tasks done like putting filters on bulbs, running cables, and carrying sandbags, which makes me pretty happy about myself. I carted an effingingly heavy generator about a kilometer the other day— my veins were popping up like gym-going dudes.

My next goal is to approach everything simple the best as I can. For example, I want to have in mind that even if it's folding up a light stand, I want to practice and get it the quickest and most efficient as humanly possible. I think that's a good and obsessive goal. Working in film is about being fast and efficient as much as being creative. I want to impress everyone how fast I can throw a quarter CTO on a 1200 watts HMI.

Still impressed how deep I got my finger cut.
