Today, after work, I decided to go biking with a couple of guys.
It is not like any bike ride I've ever been on.
I took out my bike and took to the streets of Bangkok— and the traffic of Bangkok.
This means weaving through traffic, passing buses, avoiding pot holes, and looking out for scooters.
What a rush it was. It was also one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. We got to a more quiet area and were able to do more biking around, which was nice as well. However, my favorite part was to be in the midst of all the dangerous things in the street.
This was probably foolish to some people— and my parents would kill me if they find out— probably a lot of my friends as well, but it was exhilarating.
This led me to search online to find a cycling club in Thailand. Apparently they plan out trips so they can go scuba diving, and snorkeling, and caving on the same trip.
Why not?
Pete
